Intro

Well this is my first blog, so hopefully I will figure out how it works soon.

So quick background on myself. I am 26 and married to my beautiful wife Kara. I'm a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army, served for so far 7 years, and have been on 3 deployments. On my last deployment I was injured in a IED blast, so I am now a bilateral hip disarticulation. As of today I am 7 months out from my injury. So my intention for this blog is to tell my story as a Veteran and a Handicap. I want to shed some light on what it's like to be Combat Wounded and the struggles myself and others go through.
