Pain

Well I was able to drive my truck last night. The greatest thing about the hand controls in the truck is my wife is still able to drive it normally. Yesterday I was having really bad phantom pains which sucks, but now they passed. It's weird how its different for everybody, my pains feel like a really bad leg cramp only I have no legs. So far I'm finding that heat works well for relieving pain, massage also works to an extent. I'm trying to stay away from the pain meds, the hospital is good at handing them out to amputees but not so great at monitoring how much people are taking. Lots of guys get addicted to the meds and then have to struggle to quit them.
